Radiology departments across Scotland are facing continued and considerable difficulties in the provision of safe, high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services. This report provides data relating to radiology in Scotland and specifically highlights the important issues around the geography of the country and limited access to specialist services, including dangerously low staffing levels in some areas. Data has been drawn from that collected for the Clinical radiology UK workforce census 2015.
