Insight Panel
The panel is currently made up of over 1,800 members and we’re still actively recruiting additional members who can help us better understand the needs, views and areas of interest of our Fellows and members, to influence and steer the future of our work.
FAQs
The Insight Panel is a group of doctors, both practising and retired, across the world who have agreed to respond to two short surveys from the RCR each month. Surveys are short, typically comprising six questions and taking three minutes to complete. Panellists respond to online and they will cover a variety of topics from policy, media engagement, membership offering, external engagement (lobbying MPs and training bodies) and more.
On a regular basis, the impact of the panel members’ contributions will be shared with them and our wider membership via this webpage, so that you can see the changes we are making in response to your views, in both fields of clinical radiology and clinical oncology. We would like to thank you for offering your time to shape and influence the future of our work, on behalf of our members and patients.
To become an Insight Panel member, please fill in a quick sign-up survey, which will tell us who you are and allow us to ensure you only receive the surveys relevant to you (e.g. no oncology-specific surveys if you are a radiologist).
If you have any problems signing up, please email [email protected] stating your interest in joining.
You are eligible to join the RCR Insight Panel if you are an RCR Fellow or member. All Fellows and members living in the UK and across the world are invited to join the panel.
While we expect many surveys to be broad in nature and shared with all of the Insight Panel members, some surveys might be shared with more targeted, specific groups. This means that you may not receive two surveys each month, but you will receive at least one survey each month. Each survey you do receive will take less than five minutes to respond to. We very much appreciate you sharing your limited time with us.
Data you supply as a member of the Insight Panel surveys will be anonymised after collection and any identifiable data will not be shared or made public. All data will be held in line with GDPR regulations in accordance with our membership privacy policy .
At the bottom of any email you receive about the Insight Panel, you will see an ‘unsubscribe’ button. If you would prefer not to be contacted about the Insight Panel in future, please select this button and you will be automatically removed from the mailing list. Alternatively, email [email protected] and the team will manually remove you from the panel.
