Honorary Fellowship
Who is eligible for Honorary Fellowship?
Honorary Fellowship is the most prestigious award available to a non-Fellow of the College. Recipients need not be radiologists or oncologists. Any radiologists or oncologists who are nominated would normally be expected to be working outside the UK.
What does the honour recognise?
Whether in imaging, image-guided intervention, or oncology, we invite you to nominate someone whose exceptional contribution has benefited patients through:
- Research
- Development of new technologies or techniques
- Service improvements
- Education
- Public health
- Any other relevant area.
The RCR’s Honours Committee awards up to three Honorary Fellowships each year. This honour isn’t intended to recognise work which mainly contributed to the activities of the RCR.
How do I nominate someone?
Any Fellow of the College can make a nomination. Self-nominations aren’t accepted.
Please send the CV of the person you’d like to nominate to [email protected], along with a short statement (up to 500 words) of the reasons they should receive the honour.
We value diversity and would particularly encourage and welcome nominations for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
