Gold Medal
RCR Fellows: do you know of another Fellow who has made a significant contribution to their field? Whether in imaging, image-guided intervention, or oncology, we invite you to nominate someone who has benefited patients through:
- Research
- Development of new technologies or techniques
- Service improvements
- Education
- Public health
- Any other relevant area.
What is the Gold Medal?
The Gold Medal is awarded following recommendation from the Honours Committee. It recognises important work that benefits patients (rather than work which mainly relates to RCR activities).
Who is eligible for the Gold Medal?
Any Fellow of the College apart from RCR Officers and members of the Honours Committee.
How do I nominate someone?
Any Fellow of the College can nominate another Fellow, but you cannot nominate yourself.
Please send the CV of the person you’d like to nominate to [email protected], along with a short statement (up to 500 words) of the reasons they should receive the Gold Medal.
We value diversity and would particularly encourage and welcome nominations for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
